LTC Jimmy Yap (R) PSC
Management Committee
Jimmy Yap was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of TA Properties Sdn Bhd, a member of the TA Group of Companies in Malaysia in 1996. He was seconded to be the Advisor to TA Properties (Canada) Ltd and TA Management Ltd in Vancouver, BC Canada. He was responsible for the acquisition of Terasen Centre, a modern office building in the central business district of Vancouver for TA Group in 1995.
He was the founder and Managing Director of Goddard & Smith Realty, Vancouver, BC Canada and with the acquisition of Wolstencroft Realty, managed seven commercial and residential offices in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Jimmy was also the co-founder and a director of Abbey Woods Development in Vancouver, which is a joint venture property company with the Kuok Group of Companies (M’sia).
Jimmy Yap has extensive experience in acquisitions of commercial properties, property development, project management and consultancy, and construction of real estate projects.
He is a graduate of the Royal Military College, Malaysia and the Staff College, Camberly,UK. He had served in the Singapore Armed Forces and held various staff and command positions.

Khong Kim Kong is presently a member of the Management Committee of TA Management Limited, which manages Terasen Centre in the central business district of Vancouver.
He is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst and the Royal School of Military Engineering, England. At Sandhurst, he graduated with the highest place in the Order of Merit among all the overseas cadets. He is also a graduate of the British Army General Command & Staff College for senior army officers.
After leaving the Army, he joined Tractors Malaysia and rose through the ranks to become a director of the company, responsible for the Parts & Service Division of the company. He later joined the Malayan United Industries (MUI) as an Executive Director overseeing the manufacturing activities of the company. He was subsequently appointed as the Executive Director of the Ming Court Hotel chain under MUI.
Molly Soong Diaz
Management Committee
Molly joined the property management team at the Terasen Centre, which was formerly owned and managed by Manulife Financial in 1992. Within a year of her tenure, Molly achieved her Property Management designation through the Real Estate Council of British Columbia.
The TA Group purchased the Terasen Centre in November 1995. TA Management Limited took over management of the Terasen Centre in 1999 and retained her as part of the administration and operations staff. She is now the office and leasing administrator of TAML and a member of the Management Committee.
She completed her education in Hong Kong at the top of her class. Upon her graduation, she joined the airline industry for 7 years in a supervisory capacity in customer service with Jardine Airways at Kai Tak International Airport, HK.
Molly also brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge from 26 years of administrative experience in the property management, structural engineering and construction industries.
